NEWS: August 31st. Samoan Origin Trip...

Next week we have a trip planned around both islands of Samoa, Upolu & Savai'i, with Megan & Alice from C1. We have a lot to achieve but one of our main focuses will be meeting new families to our coffee growing program.

It has almost been a year since the devastating events of 2009 Tsunami. Since then new life has sprung up on the southern coast of Upolu with over 1700 new plantings of coffee trees. This new crop will provide the means for a sustainable income to the vulnerable families involved, and we are excited to check on their progress.

Our long list of jobs also includes a visit to a potential supplier of Samoan organic honey, organic cocoa, and, at Barney's insistence, the Vailima Brewery!
