Taga, Savai'i

Taga is located on the southwest coast of Savai'i, the largest of the Samoan islands. Taga is famous for the Alofaaga or Taga Blowholes, an incredible display of nature shooting sea water fountains from volcanic formations. Savai'i, home to approximately 40,000 people, is an active volcano which last erupted in 1911.

Filifili Family

With training & equipment from WiBDI, the sons of Faleuma Filifili run a business extracting coconut oil. This oil is the main source of income for the family and the family is keen to build on the success by harvesting and processing a crop of Arabica Maragogipe they have growing on their land.
